A Cooperation contract to build a training school for Emergency Medical Services Team
    In a ceremony held in the Municipal Palace in Jounieh, the President of the Lebanese Red Cross Mrs. Suzanne Oueiss, the mayor of Jounieh Mr. Antoine Ephraim, and Mr. Raymond Najjar signed a contract of cooperation in order to build a training school for EMS, in an active endeavor of the President of EMS Ms. Rosy Boulos who accompanied the project since the beginning. The contract stipulates that Mr. Najjar will fund the building of EMS training school, and processed it at a cost of two million dollars; on the other hand, the building should carry his mother’s name Mrs. Menerva Iskandar Najjar in order to commemorate her. In return, the Municipality of Jounieh provides a location in order to achieve this vital project. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Roy El Hawa, Mr. Joseph Audi, and lawyer of the municipality Professor Tarek al-Ashkar, and from the Lebanese Red Cross attended, in addition to Ms. Oueiss, Ms. Rosy Boulos, and the Secretary-General Mr. George Kettan and others.
