The foundation stone for a new center in Cornet Chehwan
The Lebanese Red Cross celebrated the laid of the foundation stone for the new construction of the Centre of the Emergency Medical Teams at Cornet Chehwan which will carry the name of the two center’s martyrs Michel Moukarzel and Joseph Khoury. The center will be constructed with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation donated from St Peter and Paul Church properties (property) in Cornet Chehwan. The ceremony was attended by the Lebanese Red Cross family and friends, donors, first aid volunteers, and parents of the martyrs Moukarzel and Khoury.
All Speeches emphasized on the importance of the construction of the center to implement humanity missions.
At the end, the martyr’s fathers and Ms. Boulos put the foundation stone and unveiled the curtain on the memorial plaque and engraved with the name of the two martyrs.
It should be noted that this center was established since 1975, and implemented 5601 mission in 2009.
