5 wheel chairs from Lions Beirut Mid West Club
In Supporting the Lebanese Red Cross in the service of the disabled, Lions Beirut Mid West Club has presented to the Social-Medical Services Department a donation of 5 wheel chairs to the service of the owners of special cases during a visit made by a delegation from the club including the President, the lawyer Aphrodite Hdeib, the deputy of the region 351 Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq, the Engineer Georges Bou Chdid, the Chief of the Service Committee Mr. Adel El Hajj, the Secretary Mr. Riyad El Tal, the members Ezzat Chebli and Aref Jaroudi. Also, the Ex-President of the Club Mrs. Alia Chehab was among the visitors. The delegation welcomed by the President of the Lebanese Red Cross Sheikh Sami El Dahdah, the head of the Social Medical Services department Mrs. Amina Berri Fawaz, the director of dept. Mrs. Laila Jaber, and the head of Pubic Relations and communication Mr. Ghaleb El Ayoubi.

In the occasion, the lawyer Hdeib addressed a speech to the members of society in which she praised the significant work done allover the country in complete neutrality. This modest donation is in its right place to help any person in need and for sure it will reach the real needy people within the sincerity of the Lebanese and its good reputation at the level of the country and the world.

Mrs. Fawaz also thanked the Club for its generous gesture praising the efforts of its chiefs for providing the necessary equipment within the framework of the owners of special cases program.

Also, Sheikh El Dahdah thanked the President and the members of the Club and praised their sense of humanity hoping that this communication will continue in other humanitarian programs as usual and always for the sake of humanity and the human’s dignity.
