The Lebanese Red Cross responds to a fire in "Tal Abbas"


Due to a fire that broke out in a camp for displaced Syrians in “Tal Abbas” in the North around midnight of January 15th and destroyed 13 tents, the Lebanese Red Cross teams responded to the incident and worked to evacuate 65 people to the safe tents and transported 3 injured to a hospital for treatment. In addition, the LRC worked on distributing water and blankets on the affected families in coordination with the Social Affairs and UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees).
