A Graduation Ceremony for the Students of the Faculty of Nursing Sciences
Under the patronage and attendance of the President of the Lebanese Red Cross Dr. Antoine Zoghbi; The Faculty for Nursing Sciences of the Lebanese Red Cross held its annual Graduation Ceremony, at the Metropolitan Palace Hotel, Dubai Hall celebrating the accomplishments of 135 graduates with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing Sciences (BSN) and a postgraduate Diploma in Emergency and Rescue .

The Event was attended by his Excellency Deputy Dr. Fadi Alameh who was represented by Mrs. Abir Alameh, responsibles from the Lebanese Red Cross, representatives from the ICRC, President of Syndicate of Nurses, Hospital Directors, Nursing Directors, friends and the parents of the graduates.

Speeches were delivered in this occasion by the responsible of Education Sector of the Lebanese Red Cross Mr. Georges Musallem, the Dean of the Faculty for Nursing Sciences Dr. Anthony Nasr and Ms. Cinderella Mehaz on behalf of the Graduates, then Dr. Zoghbi’s speech.

After that, the Graduates received their diplomas after swearing the Nightingale’s Oath

During the Event ,Mrs. Ursula Rizk the former president of the Syndicate of Nurses in Lebanon, has been awarded the prestigious Florence Nightingale Medal by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC ),after being nominated from the Lebanese Red Cross and received the award from Ms. Sanya Drljevic Movement Cooperation Coordinator in ICRC.
