Graduation Ceremony for the Students of the Faculty of Nursing Sceinces
Under the patronage and attendance of the President of the Lebanese Red Cross(LRC) Dr. Antoine Zoghbi, the LRC Faculty of Nursing Sciences in Baabda graduated 107 nursing students with Bachelor Degree in Nursing Sciences (BSN) and postgraduate Diploma in Emergency and rescue during a ceremony held at the Lancaster Plaza Hotel- Raouche. The event was attended by several LRC officials, president and members of syndicate of nurses, hospital nursing directors, and the parents of the graduates. Speeches were delivered in this occasion by the head of Education Department Mr. Georges Musallem who noted the role of the graduates in disseminating the principles of the Red Cross through their career, namely serving the society impartially and without discrimination. The Dean of the Faculty Dr. Anthony Nasr, stressed in his speech on the importance of this career in serving patients and society. After the speech of the graduates represented by the student Khaled Saker, Dr. Zoghbi expressed the importance of retrieving the role of the Faculty of Nursing Sciences and reinstalling it on the map of higher education in Lebanon.
The graduates, then, swore the nightingale’s oath and were handed their degrees
