The Lebanese President signed the flag that will be planted on the Himalayas
The Lebanese President General Michel Aoun, received at Baabda Palace, the Lebanese Red Cross President Dr. Antoine Zoughbi, accompanied by the paramedic in LRC – Spears center Zeinab Abdel Raouf Salam, who briefed President Aoun on her intention to climb the Himalayas and the summit of the “Island Peak” (6189 meters). Ms. Salam asked for the president's signature on the flag that will be planted on the summit, expressing her enthusiasm to raise the Lebanese flag on the top of the mountains.
President Aoun praised Ms. Salam by saying that her volunteering to contribute in saving people's lives is a proof of the great humanitarian feeling she has, and her determination to raise the Lebanese flag is also a proof of her national sense. After the meeting, the paramedic expressed her happiness to meet the president, who signed the Lebanese flag that she will take with her in her adventure, saying that it raises her morale and gives her the necessary momentum to overcome the difficulties that are waiting her in climbing the mountains.
