A Donation from the People of Japan to the LRC
The Lebanese Red Cross received, through IFRC, 3 full equipped ambulances that will be used in EMS services all over Lebanon, as a donation from the people of Japan.
On The occasion of the handover of Japanese-funded ambulances to Lebanese Red Cross, Mr. Yoshitake Naraoka, Counsellor deputy chief of mission at the Embassy of Japan in Lebanon, attended a celebratory ceremony at the EMS headquarter in Hazmieh, accompanied by the First Secretary head of the Economic and Economic Cooperation section of the Japanese Embassy in Lebanon Mitsuhiro Wada, and the Advisor Ms. Sandrine Hashem, where they were greeted by the head of EMS Ms. Rosy Boulos and the director of the department Mr. Abdullah Zogheib. The head of country office for Lebanon in IFRC Mr. Cristhian Cortez, in addition to the Japanese Red Cross representative for MENA, Ms. Maki Igarashi, as well as a number of paramedics also attended the ceremony.
